AB Manual Plastic injectors feature a smaller footprint and a lighter carry weight than our more fully featured semi-automatic plastic injectors. They are ideal for prototyping, production runs and over molding applications where you need to bring the machine to the part being over molded.

Our manual plastic injectors feature a quick and easy manual clamp designed with a hardened screw and bronze nut for long wear, or a power clamp, as well as an adjustable ram speed control.

The models in our manual line of plastic injectors includes the AB-100, AB-150 and AB-400M

AB-100 Plastic Injector

The AB-100 Plastic Injector features a 1/4 oz. shot capacity and a 2 ton manual clamp, as well as an injection cylinder capable of 6333PSI. Mold height is up to 2.5” and sprue center line is 7/8”.

AB-150 Plastic Injector

The AB-150 Plastic Injector features a 1/4 oz. shot capacity and a 2 ton lever activated power clamp, as well as an injection cylinder capable of 6333PSI. Coupled with the power clamp which eliminates the need for manual clamping, the configuration of this table top machine is offset in order to allow for faster operation while processing small to medium production runs. Mold height is up to 2.5” and sprue center line is 7/8”. An optional 2.5 ton lever activated power clamp is available for this model.

AB-400M Plastic Injector

The AB-400M Plastic Injector features a 1/2 oz. shot capacity and a 2 ton manual clamp, as well as a 2 stage injection cylinder capable of 6903PSI. We also outfit this machine with a large 30oz (840gr) material hopper. Mold size is up to 3” x 3” and sprue center line is 1”.

 

All AB Plastic injection machines are built with the following standard features:

  • Strong aircraft spec aluminum body.
  • User interchangeable stainless steel injection chamber and piston for corrosion resistance.
  • Working area is protected by a transparent safety-guard and safety red heat shield.
  • The machines are transportable and do not require any permanent installation.
  • All pneumatic devices are of the “no-lube” design, making the machine ideal for medical and other clean room applications.
